Securing vast and open agricultural spaces can be a challenge, especially in remote areas where traditional security measures may fall short. For this project, Safe Tech was tasked with designing and installing a complete electric fencing solution across a large piece of farmland used for crop cultivation and equipment storage.
Project Scope
The property was exposed on all sides, making it vulnerable to trespassing, theft, and damage from stray animals. The goal was to implement a durable, energy-efficient, and self-sustaining security system that could operate independently in an off-grid location.
Our Solution
- High-Tensile Electric Fence:
We installed over 800 meters of multi-strand electric fencing, supported by galvanized steel poles to withstand weather conditions and animal pressure. The layout followed the natural boundaries of the land to ensure full coverage. - Solar-Powered Energizer System:
Since the land was located in a low-electricity zone, we integrated a solar-powered energizer with battery backup, allowing the fence to function 24/7 without relying on the main grid. - Alarm Integration:
The system included a voltage drop alarm, which triggers if any section of the fence is tampered with or grounded, providing real-time alerts to the landowner via SMS. - Weatherproof Design:
All components used, including insulators, energizers, and connectors, were selected for their UV resistance and weather durability, ensuring long-term performance with minimal maintenance.
